this morning i happen to blog a little about san pedro's art scene - just a tad - on my own site, plugging the show at angels gate right now: on site at the gate 2005. but since i'm at it, there's also a very bitchen show by poor al over at walled city right now too. not to be missed! i also added a first thursday link to the right side column. what else? it's damn pretty out right now because of the rain last night. maybe i'll snap a picture and post it here, or maybe i'll keep it all to myself. in the meantime, read this.

a note here is that the 1st thursday site sucks ass and is out dated, but it's all we gots.
I'm currently working on a proposal to have Christina Chaya's 1st Thursday brochure expanded into a website that will replace the current 1st Thursday site, which is embarassingly out of date, and badly designed, to boot. That way the marketing for the event will be of the same quality, and the information on the event will be updated with the same attention to detail. We also just started a committee of the Business Improvement District (downtown) that is going to take a look at 1st Thursday and hopefully make the event a little more cohesive as well, including doing sometihng about the booths on 6th that are dragging the whole thing down.
