IBEW Bank Lofts Picket
Two workers from the IBEW were on site picketing the Bank Lofts project this morning. They claim that other than the Ironworkers who put up the steel trusses that support the remaining facade of the old bank and the elevator core, there are no union workers on site, nor are the workers who are on site being paid a prevailing wage.

But...I thought these developments were supposed to bring tons o' good paying jobs! This must all be a big misunderstanding!
No... Not good paying construction jobs. The "good paying jobs" come later when there's a Gap on 7th & Mesa. Really...
