i vaguely remember reading somewhere that when he was told about homeowners living behind his golf course that they might object to some of his ideas for construction (a range, huge mansions, etc.) his response was something to the effect of "we'll kick their ass (in court)"
At the public meeting where his purchase was approved he also publicly declared his intention to make the course private, regardless of the community's preference. The man's just a grade A asshole.
there's also footage of him somewhere at cox cable of him calling the school district's attorney "an asshole"
Any idea where? I'd love to have that footage on this site.
