Retail spaces slated for the ground floor of the Centre Street Lofts haven't been leased yet, Froman said.
"We've not signed any leases," she said. "It's actually a little more challenging at this location because we're not bringing in a big-box or well-known, big-name companies. We're looking for local businesses."

So, today around 9am, there was a tractor that looked as though it was clearing out the scrub on the 22nd & Miner lot (below the Crescent bikepath). Anybody know if that signals a new park is on its way? That'd actually be pretty sweet.
It may be just routine brush clearance. They had a tractor doing it up by my office at Angels Gate last Friday.
they are clearing it to use for parking for the July 4 festivities.
The parking as part of the waterfront "enhancements" probably won't begin until early 2007.
