Port pollution editorial in the Times today
A small item in the Times editorial section today briefly addresses the pollution situation down at the Port, focusing on Maersk's recent pledge to switch to low-sulphur diesel. If they actually cut diesel pollution 85% by 2020, I'll eat my hat, though.

there's a more interesting story on several candidates running for the NW council spots.
questions are swirling that several people have been put up to the job by Bisno's lobbying firm Svorinich and Associates.
Good for Maersk. I hope they follow through with this and it's the start of a trend.
hey, anonymous #2... where'd you get that tidbit about the NW council? can't find it anywhere. which specific candidates? who told you? why don't you tell us which candidates, so we can ask them ourselves, rather than exist in a sustained state of generalized paranoia from "questions" transmitted to us via swirlcast.

I wouldn't consider a local consultancy being aware of the media in Pedro as "monitoring". That sounds so sinister... They're just as welcome to read and post as anyone else is.
