3 terms for Janice?

You may or may not have heard, but the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and the League of Women Voters are advocating the relaxation of term limits on Los Angeles City Councilpersons to allow them to serve third terms in office (if the voters are so inclined to let them do so). They're expected to vote today to put the issue onto the November 7th Ballot. If the measure is passed, Janice could run for re-election in 2009, rather than be termed out.
