Looks like my neighbors over at the Toberman Settlement House have been named the Nonprofit of the Year by the United Way of Greater Los Angeles. The Breeze has an article about the award.

Speaking of the Breeze. They ran an article on Assistant Editor Phillip Sanfield becoming the new editor now the Sue Schmitt has moved on. No new news on the possible sale of the Breeze, though.
