Point Vicente Interpretive Center is back
After 7 years of non-openess, the Peninsula's best place to get your whale-o-philia on has re-opened. The Point Vicente Interpretive Center re-opens Saturday with more whales, dolphins and sharks than ever before. The Breeze article on the re-opening had nothing about hours, but the old chamber page for the Center said 10-5.
That plus an apparent good year for blue whale sightings in the channel should provide a banner year for whale watching activities. If you're into that kind of vouyerism, that is.

I've heard through the grapevine that the Press Telegram has put in an offer for the Breeze. The people at the PT sounded confident they're going to buy it.
do you mean singleton's media news group? Because the press telegram wouldn't put an offer for anything.
