the papers are reporting geffen's bid for the times was 2 billion. even if the breeze deal excludes real estate, you gotta wonder who in their right mind would let it go for 25 million. sure it's losing money, but hell - make a few layoffs and/or cut out some overhead.
copley should have picked up at least another 10 million for the breeze. at least.

The Breeze has really been dying a slow death for a while now.
It runs so many blah stories about a random senior citizen who did something cool 50 years ago. Or really good kids who do well in school. Or some sob story of a kid with some horrible disease. Or a random story of some guy's pet...
You get the picture.
