I concur with MJP/I (heart) This Place

MJP is right - your days are numbered, local squid! They were fishing for squid right off the Point last night, something I've seen only a few times, and I'm over in that area almost every day. I took the above photo after getting off work from the parking lot above Sunken City.

While I was there I had this awesome Pedro/hometown moment. The parking lot was filled with locals with binoculars, talking about the various technical aspects of squid fishing, a real reminder of what this town's about and why I live here and not in Eagle Rock. They had brought their kids with them and it was one of those things that can only happen here - totally magical.
