So there was maybe going to be a walkout last night, but there wasn't, and both the Times and the Breeze have somewhat vague articles on the subject. All the sort-of-news that's fit to print, here at Life on the Edge!
Given the national significance of anything that stops work at the Port, it's almost shocking how little public coverage or real knowledge there is about the current negotiations.

Just an ego driven, no meaning post to get my name as close to the top of what, given the passion dumped into 1000 word posts to the July 1st thread, could be another week long battle to the finish.
I'm pulling for an IMBG/So What reconciliation when So What returns from holiday. Maybe it's a pie in the sky vision; but hey anything could happen right?

Anyway, most of these negotiations tend to be covered by news blackout agreements. Of course, they are often ignored by management which is why these stories appear in the paper, etc.
Yes, clearly these are the Lincoln-Douglas debates of the 21st century. Well, at least the Liddy-Leary debates.
