Explosion on Ocean Odyssey

Remember that post a while back with pictures of Ocean Odyssey, the Sea Launch platform, heading out to sea? Well it looks like they had a spectacular launch failure yesterday. During the launch no personnel is supposed to be on the platform, the technicians operate the launch from a boat at a safe distance, and no one has been reported injured or killed.

I wonder what this means for the future of our local floating spaceport. The explosion completely engulfs the Ocean Odyssey - I can't imagine that it's still operational after that. I'm a space exploration junkie, and I'm really proud that Sea Launch calls Los Angeles it's home base.
